Did you know that aeroplanes are able to fly because of tiny, TINY structures, less than the width of a human hair?! We’re talking about ‘superalloys’ – special materials that are able to maintain the arrangement of their atoms at incredibly high temperatures, such as those found in a jet engine. Intrigued?
