The Winchcombe Meteorite – One Year On

On 28th February 2021, at around 10pm, a meteor streaked across the skies of the UK ☄️. Thanks to a network of cameras, scientists were able to accurately predict its landing site, and within just 12 hours the main mass of the meteorite had been discovered and collected! One year on, we hear from Prof James Bryson (Oxford’s Department of Earth Sciences) about what makes the Winchcombe meteorite just so special.
