Philip Fowler

Computational Scientist

Sooo, I studied Physics at Cambridge University and then went to work in a bank, as you do. After 3 years I decided I wanted to come back to science (part of me had never really left), so next was a PhD in Chemistry at UCL, before moving to Oxford in 2006 to work in the Department of Biochemistry. Two years ago, I was lucky enough to move to the John Radcliffe Hospital, also in Oxford, where I now work on antibiotic resistance. In my spare-time I run the BashTheBug, a Citizen Science project where you can help us tackle tuberculosis!
