OXFORD SPARKS LIVE: Sampling the Earth's interior in Costa Rica

Ever wondered how a scientist got into their field of research? Now's your chance to get up close and personel with a team of micorbiologists, earth scientists and microbial ecologist!

The team worked together sampling the Earth's interior in Costa Rica and they are flying in specially to tell you all about the project and give you an insight in what a day in the life of working in their field looks like.

Scientists in the spotlight include Dr. Karen Lloyd, Peter Barry and Donato Giovannelli

The event will be hosted at Woodgreen School in Witney and prior to the event will give the opportunity to see some drones in flight and an opportunity to speak to more Oxford University researchers

The event is completely free to attend, simply email kirsty.heber-smith@mpls.ox.ac.uk with the number of tickets you wish to obtain

The event will also be Facebook LIVE streamed on the www.facebook.com/OxSparks page and we would love to get as many schools to share this!
